Privacy Policy -- Activation Playbook

Activation Playbook LLC ("Activation Playbook," "we," "us") helps leaders put AI to work. This policy explains what we collect when you use activationplaybook.com and our related services, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this short and plain on purpose.

Who we are

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a form, request a guide, or contact us, we collect what you provide — typically your name, email address, and anything you write to us.
Account & sign-in information. When you create an account, we collect your email and authentication details. If you choose "Sign in with Google," Google shares your basic profile information with us — your name, email address, and profile picture — solely to create and secure your account. We do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or other Google data.
Usage information. As you use our guides and course, we record your progress (such as modules started or completed) so we can save your place and improve the experience.
Device & analytics information. Like most websites, we automatically collect basic technical data (such as browser type, pages viewed, referring page, and approximate location) through analytics tools.

How we use your information

To provide, maintain, and improve our guides, course, and services;
To create and secure your account and sign you in;
To respond to you and send service-related messages (such as a sign-in link);
To send updates or content only if you've opted in, and you can unsubscribe anytime;
To understand how the site is used so we can make it better;
To protect against fraud, abuse, and security risks, and to comply with law.

How we share information

We never sell your personal information. We share it only with the trusted service providers that help us run the site — for things like hosting, signing you in, analytics, scheduling, and sending email — and only to the extent each needs it to do its job. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or in connection with a business transfer.

Google user data

Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use your Google profile data only to authenticate you and run the features you ask for — never to sell it, and never for advertising.

Cookies & analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to measure how the site is used (via Google Analytics and PostHog). You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some features.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, then for a reasonable period to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Your rights & choices

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you can opt out of marketing emails at any time. To make a request, email colton@activationplaybook.com and we'll respond promptly. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or the GDPR.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your data and to keep our providers held to the same standard.

Children

Our services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll revise the "Effective" date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to let you know.
